My wife has to work on Christmas Day, so we will be opening presents just after midnight on Christmas Eve.

Since forever. Animals get sick, run over by cars, eat remains of a turkey carcass or whole ham, etc. etc. every day of the year, mate.

She's working at two different emergency hospitals, so it's all weeknights, weekends, and holidays. [:(]

The good news is that, because of all of her hard work, on Christmas Eve, we will write the check to purchase our share of the vet practice in the Turks and Caicos! [8D][8D][8D][8D][8D]
