Heavy air combats were reported from our pilots in the strikes against Ndeni facilities and ground forces, like bellow:

- 6 A6M2 engaged 18 P-40E on CAP over Ndeni. 1 P-40E was reported down.
- 15 A6M2 dogfighted with 15 P-40 at CAP over Ndeni. 2 P-40E and 1 A6M2 were reported downed.
- 61 G4M1 escorted with 27 A6M2 reported A2A combat over Ndeni with 8 P-40E. 1 P-40E was downed by our fighters with 13 casaulties, 2 airbase, 2 airbase supply and 15 runway hits.

Nor less than 7 enemy have been spotted today around Truk Naval Base. Another boats around Bismarcks and Salomon. This deployment responds to the high interest of the enemy in this area.

- A dutch coastal submarine was reported hit near Kavieng by one G4M1 flying a LR ASW mission.
- A dutch oceanic submarine was reported hit near Truk by E13A1 float plane flyng an ASW mission from HIJMS CHIYODA.
- Another allied boat was reported hit by a LR Flying Boat patrolling around Truk
- An allied submarine was reported hit by a B5N2 carrier based torpedo-bomber patrolling in the security area of Naval Base of Truk.

Enemy have deploy a boat off Truk like you can see in the SitMap Report !!.

At S.R.A. our ASW assets reported enemy submarine attacks, like bellow:

- PB IKUNTA MARU was torpedoed and sunk by dutch boat off Mataram.
- XAK YAMAZATO MARU (regular freighter supplying Timor) was sunk off Ambon by another dutch boat after be engaged at surface. She delivered her cargo at Lautern before be sunk in the returning leg.

Our naval ASW patrol will be reinforced tomorrow around Truk with new aircrafts and 3 Hunter Killer groups around 2 "Fubuki-II" and 1 Escort ship each.

Air Strikes over China Targets from 1st Air Division:

- 78 IJA level bombers escorted by 6 Ki-43 strike 57th Chinese Corps in the North Sian frontline to report 177 enemy casualties.
- 38 Ki-27 and 31 Ki-21-IC reported another 117 casualties from 69th chinese corps in the Northern Sian frontline.
- 14 Ki-48Ib strike 29th Chinese Corps in the Northern Sian frontline to report another 22 casualties.

Chinese counterstrikes at North of Sian against our armoured advanced guard !... 07 chinese corps attacked our 5 tank regiments. 47 vehicles lost (45 disabled and 2 destroyed) vs 2.129 chinese casualties. A great success !.

At South fronline, expeditionary forces from XVI ARMY launched a deliberated attack against Kweilin supported by 7 arty units and 2 armoured regiments. 3.893 IJA casualties vs 1.196 chinese heavily fortified (size 3). We await 38th Infantry Division and several brigades to reinforce our deploy to take this city.

Thank you very much for your wise advise...
XVI Army is working hard to take the city with XXIII Army trying to cut eastern railroad to eastern China. It will not be easy due Jonathan massive effort to defend the southern cities.

I am confident with the japanese efforts in three diferent fronts at China (China-Burmese around Tsuyung, Southern China around Kweilin and Northern China around Sian). I am taken many losses, but reemplacement rates are good (and probably better than chinese, and chinese city taken is a lost for resources/supply to the chinese poor logistic). I am ready to lost as many courageous lifes to get the final prize: the end of the Chungking Regime.

If I get this target, the game will be very difficult for allies, IMHO.

Our LR Twin-engine torpedo bombers were unable to locate and destroy the naval surface TF spotted off Munda yesterday at night. Probably the enemy not flee at high speed to South but South West.

After war supplies convoy arrived to Koepang we have restarted our air missions to supress enemy targets at northern Australia but today our IJAAF air wave was surprised by enemy fighters on CAP over Darwin. 27 Ki-21IIa with 14 Ki-48IIa were intercepted by 4 Kittyhawk IA. We lost 5 level bombers with 51 enemy casualties reported from 19th Aussie Battalion.

Our retaliation waves will take off tomorrow to blast all enemy AFs in the area in few days.

- 98 IJA level bombers escorted by 38 Ki-43Ic smashed 76th Chinese Corps, reporting 238 enemy casualties.
- 26 IJA level bombers strike 57th Chinese Corps reporting 14 casualties.
- 12 Ki-49Ia strike 37th Group Army HQ reporting 60 casualties.

At South, our IJAAF assets supported our ground assault, like bellow:

- 11 Ki-27 escorted 47 Ki-51 to strike 49th Chinese Division
- 10 Ki-45 KAI strike 55th PRov Chinese Division
- 16 KI-48IIa strike 55th Provisional Chinese Division

At ground, our forces were stopped by the enemy. The fight is house to house, hand to hand !... 2nd and 8th Tank Army supported the storm with heavy fire from our arty units. 06 chinese corps defend the city like a enclosed rat.. Our engineers reduced fortifications to size 1 !!.. Our losses 3.136 men vs 752 chinese casualties.

In few days, one brigade from 22nd Division will arrive to the southern front line to support the new attack. After several storms enemy must be under supplies shortages and we are plenty of them, due our sealift capability from Hainan/Formosa Islands.

XAK Bushu Maru in a fast speed cargo mission was engaged at surface by a "Gato" Class boat SW Aogashima. After two torpedo hits she was sent to bottom. She was excepted to deliver a urgent supply cargo to Saipan Island.

A C5M2 naval Search flight report a hit on an allied submarine at southern salomons.
A H6K4 Flying Boata at ASW patrol reported 1 hit on a "Gudgeon" Class boat at Salomons.

HIJMS AKIZUKI at ASW duties at Kuriles Island have been requested by CARDIV4 CINC to fullfil ASW escorts in the CV HIYO screen.
