game may not wake up correctly from sleep

I tried the game on a computer different from my puttering desktop.

On a laptop with Vista-Home I put the computer in sleep mode with the game still open; when I woke the computer the WitE entry still was on the program bar but the game window was just blank, though the headers were still showing.
