Car's totaled, as Onime said. C'est la vie.
Shouldn't that be C'est la garage? Cure for the future? I recommend:

It's Mille Bornes, comrade red mouse. I don't know if they have it in a massive-multiplayer WOW format for your generation though. [:'(]

I've never played it, but at least I have heard of Mille Bornes.  [;)]

However, I didn't recognize the card.  [:D]

Driving Ace card... you play this to counter the "wreck" card someone else plays on you... [8D]

So here I am in kinda of a different part of the world, and I go shopping, and I find Boudin sausages. Well, gotta try them, of course, but here I am wheeling my shopping cart down the aisle singing:

Tiens,
Voilà du boudin,
Voilà du boudin,
Pour les Alsaciens, les Suisses et les Lorrains,
Pour les Belges, y en a plus, Pour les Belges, y en a plus,
Ce sont des tireurs au cul.

But you can still keep it and get it fixed can't you? [&:]

Yes.

No. The frame is bent. Not a feasible repair.

Very sad. That car had another 100k before it realistically was going to die.

Aaah. Appears that your initial estimate of the damage was somewhat....understated. [X(]

The driving ace card is a permanent card. No one can play a wreck on you if you have this in play. You may be thinking of the 'repair' card that is more of a 'one off' fix for a wreck given you...[8D]

1) Who said GFU doesnt trust me? [:'(]

2) "One of those" I hear you say.... [:'(]

3) I'm surprised by such a blatantly untrue statement from a married man. Anyone knows that the only things married men can "get away with" are the things that your wife will let you "get away with". [:'(]

I joke a lot about not knowing something, but I gotta be honest, this one has me beat. I have never heard of this in my life. [X(]

Pfffttt.... Avalon Hill's Speed Circuit was the best auto racing game. Admittedly, I had to create my own versions of the racetracks. I did every track on the 1978 Formula One circuit as well as Road Atlanta (my first one).

i wouldn't call Mille Bornes an actual racing game... it was a card game with a racing theme... fun, but not really deep... about on par with PIT (a card game about commodities trading... [:D])

Agree with rtrapasso. Mille Bornes was strictly a 'beer and pretzels' format. Reminds me of "Family Business", a good opportunity for reestablishing animus and recreating normative relationships. One of my favorite games....[:D]
