I have heard through my sources that the T-7 day pre-flight checks are complete. The sleigh has been red-tagged. I am told it has a bad SNU (Santa Navigation Unit). It has 3 that operate in redundant mode. A new unit has been ordered from a major avionics firm in the US. Delivery is expected no later than Tuesday.

I also have an unconfirmed report that one of the 8 propulsion units has been grounded. I have heard a rumor that Chickenboy and USS America's wife have been called in to consult. This, however, is unconfirmed.

The SNU is installed in the avionics bay which is in the forward end of the sleigh. This will not impact the start of payload installation into the sleigh. The payload compartment is in the aft end of the sleigh. Payload installation starts tomorrow (T-6 days) and must be complete no later than 04:00 GMT on December 24th.

What do the Nate and Claude factories upgrade to, or do I have to change them myself? 

Oscars and Zeros, they will auto upgrade, but I usually do it myself. [:)]

Scott, you sure about this? If you're right, why don't these factories upgrade on turn one? Both Zeroes and Oscars are in production on turn one as it stands.

Not sure when they auto upgrade.

This will sound strange, till you realize that I love old fashioned things that work better than the modern "equivalents". She's going to be an accountant right? How about a very nice quality fountain pen (with cartridge reservoir)? My spouse gave me a Waterman set back in August for my birthday, and I absolutely love it! You can change the ink colors in it, it looks very classy and is actually a lot of fun to use. My penmanship has improved immeasurably since I got mine. [:)]

Its an excellent suggestion. I got my dad a Mont Blanc a while back and he loved it. Unfortunately, GFUs wise@ss German friend beat me to it and got her a fountain pen last year. Still a great suggestion, Steve. Thank you. [&o]

Then upgrade. If he got her a Cross, then get her a Waterman. Or go all the way and do a Mont Blanc. Fountain pens are like watches and fancy razors. People who love them, collect them, and use them as the mood or occasion suits. Electronics are great, but are obsolete in a year. Classics last forever. And of course, there's always jewelry.....[:D]

I have about 2 dozen fountain pens now. Nice to use, look nice too.

Anyway, just got back from the gym, where I'm beginning to notice a disturbing trend. Men apparently have no body hair these days! And I'm not talking about teenagers, but guys my own age and older.[X(]

I can understand defoliating ONE part of your anatomy, when you're in a relationship. I've done it, but that was because I got something in return. The whole thing? Nah-ah!
