Vacation countdown tithe: T-8:45 and counting. [:D]

Damn you and the horse you rode in on!

So, when does your vacation start, T? I still have a day and a half. [8|]

What "vacation" is this you speak of? I have Friday off this week, and Thursday and Friday next week.

Geez, how much HGH (Horse Growth Hormone) is that poor critter on for it to jump that high with your lard-butt on its back?[:'(]

At least i don't need a Clydesdale and a forklift in order to go on a trail ride. [:'(]

You'll never get me on a horse. They're the most insane of all domesticated animals, including cows and sheep. Dangerous.

On a more positive note though, that means that the both the starry sky and the aurora borealis is quite spectacular Image

If you could get a picture of the arora borealis and post it, that would be great! The army has sent me to some interesting (and not so interesting [:D]) places, but I've never been that far north.

Pictures of Northern Lights, but you need a movie with sound to get the whole experince.[:)]

Insane is a good word. My daughter loves her horse. That horse is certifiable.

I'm sorry, but it would take a better photographer than me to get a good picture of it. Besides, I forgot to bring my camera home for Christmas. [:(]

Temperature dropping fast now with a high pressure coming in from the Arctic. Currently -25C (-13F) and still going down. Image

You were just in Alaska this last week, weren't you Mike?

The only time I've seen the aurora borealis I was driving on I-90 on the way to Spokane.

Close, it was Washington. I couldn't see the sky so if there was an aurora borealis, you had to be in a plane to see it. [:D]

Heh, the only time I get near that demon horse is when there's a very sturdy wall between us. I don't know how my daughter does it. She can stand under the horse's head without touching it. Sterling will do anything Gina wants. She (Sterling) just tries to bite me. (Gina hasn't tried to bite me yet.) I guess I ooze fear around her. [:D]

The photo was obviously taken here in the northwest, but it looks very much like a facility we have south of Olympia - though I can't picture for the life of me why you would come so far to ride your horse.

You're shorter than I pictured you. Then again, maybe Ty is just a really big horse. [:D]

No big deal, though I wish the army would send me to Alaska for a bit.

My holiday start at 1pm Friday. Today I've been told I have to be on call Tue and Wed next week when I'm supposed to be off. Of course I won't get those days back but I will get - gasp!- £30 a day to be on call. So I had to sell my days off for £30 each or be invited into the office on those days instead. [:@]
