Having the same problem. Have british ships in Karachi with no disband button.

There is a problem with the button showing that has been identified.

Bases for allied LCU disbanding are:
BASE_AUCKLAND
BASE_DELHI
BASE_SAN_FRANCISCO
BASE_SYDNEY
BASE_VLADIVOSTOK
[and the main base for small map scenarios]

Michael, confirmed that the button DOES appear for ground units. My unit finally reached Delhi and its there under the new patch. So the problem is only in the naval.

Not using beta patch- but a bug that might be fixed?

When transferring carrier air units to land bases- as either allies or Japan- after the unit transfers you see an air unit information screen for one of your opponents units. E.g. playing as Japan I've just transferred a carrier unit off and ta dah

The controls/radio buttons work as well- I was able to draw an extra pilot into the unit - I didn't try any other buttons as this is part of a current PBEM.

LCUs that are scheduled for withdraw will withdraw automatically on their withdraw date.
Players are able to also disband LCUs, subject to the following conditions:

1. LCU must be in it's national home base, and
2. LCU must not be permanentely restricted, and
3. LCU must not be scheduled for withdraw

A note:
This patch will re-sync weapons on subs when they hit port. It wont go into 'repairs' unless there is other damage.

Ships where the class and ship weapons are not aligned will have the good old '*' next to the class name of the ship display.
Does this mean that the database updates can be applied without major damage to games in progress?

Maybe I missed one. Last thing official I saw, they were recommending not to do the DB update for games in progress. Maybe they can provide an update after the holiday break.

I personally apply the DB changes to my AI games as the code should be able to cope (even with the last lot of sub weapon restructures).

However it really is up to the players (esp PBEM) to decide if the database changes are significant enough to warrant updating the save.

009. Added a destroyed LCU screen and the ability to reform non-Chinese LCUs (at 1% TOE) using PPs
To what base will the reformed units return? For instance if I lose an Indian Brigade in Singapore when it falls, will it attempt to reform in Singapore? Delhi? Aden? Oh, and Merry Christmas everyone.

Hello Scott, how are you doing? I suspect you are right, but I was also thinking about the troops in Manila, Hong Kong, DEI etc, basically the ones that are lost at the beginning. How long after they are rebuilt will they appear? and where?

Without checking the code, I think that they show up in the national home base.
[edit - yep, is national base ]
