Question about the installer

Hi,

I've got a boxed version of CC: CoI which was bought at the very beginning when the game was published (about 3 years ago).

I didn't play it for a long time and when I reinstalled it today, I noticed that the installer doesn't allow me to select a folder for installation - it only allows selecting disk, e.g. C:, D:, etc. In a way, it forces me to install the game with some kind of silly path. Since, it doesn't allow selecting a full path, even if I change the disk letter from C: to e.g. D:, I still have to install it into D:\Program Files\...

Is it also the case in the version sold now?

I was thinking that maybe it was like this in the initial version of the installer sold at the beginning, but maybe it was improved later on...?

It is the same.

There are some parts of the program that need the path prescribed for it all to work correctly.

You can change the path but you will lose some functionality.
