Major Air Losses when no flights in Blizzard

It is Turn 30 - Blizzard.

I have my Air Doctrine set to 120% to keep my planes grounded while I rebuild.

F11 shows that no combats have taken place, either side. I made no air attacks last turn and Doctrine then was also 120% - has been for several turns.

They still fly training missions. Should be visible in the event log.

Nice touch, actually. Amazing detail in this game.

Maybe the next game could have an option to ground air units from training; in real life there are legit reasons why you wouldn't be flying for a week.
