Which pool should captured equipment go to?

Post by gingerbread »

This is from a '41 turn 1. There has so far been some action with 17th Army against the Kiev MD border units. I happened to check the production of the Axies countries and found to my surprize that some of the stuff captured by German units have ended up in the Finnish pool. In this case it is 3 vehicles that are generic and 1 152 mm M-10 Howitzer.

Is it intended that other countries than the one(s) participating in the battle gets some of the loot?

Finland already uses 152 mm M-10's. Does this make a difference i.e. will there be a simple nationallity change in those cases where there is a match?

Afaik, captured equipment (and men) also can come via border attrition, but with much smaller quantities.

Be that as it may, but since this is the first turn there has been no logistic phase and therefore no attrition yet. So the only source is the action in the south.

There is a formula for which country's manpower pool returning former disabled men go to, is that used for captured equipment as well?

Captured equipment is shared among all the Allies based on the location unit forced to retreat. I think the problem could happen in case of bad coordinate check for the support unit, which has y=0, thus it may show up in Finnish pool. I'll check it. Thanks.
