Help needed when changing empire names

Ok So I'm trying to change the Ketarov to Centauri, I have a theme folder all setup and running fine prior to this and these are the only new changes.

When I copy both races.txt and bias.txt I open them and change ketarov to centauri and then when I try to click "start new game" the following message appears. Note this happens with any race I try to swap out. Anyone have any ideas what i'm doing wrong?



Also note I did think this was an issue with the name of the dialog file so I changed that from ketarov to centauri and still got the same result.

This error occurs when you have a list of races on the other empires screen. So when you try to start a new game with a different theme, it doesn't recognise the names on the list of other empires.

To avoid this, you have to switch back to the previous theme, then either start a quick game to clear the list, or start a new game, click ok until you get to the other empires screen, then start deleting the other empires from the list and then click the X at the top to go back to the main menu.

Thanks it was starting to frustrate me, on a side note can the galactopediea still be edited with a hmtl editor?

I've never tried it myself. I'm not sure about that.
