credit for ground kills by aircraft

I'm playing the Soviet side vs Axis computer, so my air units have not been really active so far, but the last two turns I took a poke at some German ground units shoved forward. Each ground attack ( not air support during ground units moving but an air attack only ) killed about 40 or 50 men. The attacks were a combo of fighters and bombers. I've checked my air roster, and no bomber units have a credit for any kills, just the fighter-bomber units

I seem to be mistaken; I was looking at the kill count through the commander's report.  It seems the kill numbers there represent air-to-air kills only and not ground types.

Yes, CR shows only A2A. Ground credits show amount of destroyed ground elements (squads) by air to land attack
