Preference Problems

In the map preferences I have had the Show Move Path stop working during the turn. I have had to go to preferences and add the check again. This has happened several times in one turn.

In the user preferences I set the Combat Resolution at 1, but when the AI starts I have had it jump to 6 on one turn and 2 on another. As the AI is doing the turn the only way to reset the combat resolution to 1 is to exit the game and change the setting when I reload the campaign. I am playing the 1941-1945 campaign as the Soviets on the challenging setting.

This is very odd. Have you tried to press 1-7 to toggle details? It should be possible even during the AI turn.

I am currently starting game turn 8 on the 1941-1945 campaign. The
combat resolution changed from 1 to 6 at the end of my turn and the start of
the AI phase on turn 4. The Show Move path disapeared once on game turn 5
and twice on game turn 6. Neither event occured on game turn 7.
To stop the combat resolution from changing, the last thing I do before
ending the turn is check the preferences. I will try your suggestion to
toggle 1-7 during the AI phase. However to toggle the keys 1-12. I have to do so
on the game screen as nothing happens at any time when I use the keyboard.
The other hotkeys work when I use the keyboard. Except for pressing the
space bar to speed up rail movement, sometimes this works and sometimes even
pressing the space bar 5 or 6 time does not take the unit being railed to
its destination hex. So I just wait for the railed to arrive.
