'42 I didn't do much but make up the lost ground. Which was grinding through one Soviet line and the next.
'43 I actually took Kharkov, Kursk etc in winter. While I did that the AI found its berserker heart and constantly attacked me up and down the line for all blizzard turns (including the 2 in feb where it didn't blizzard when it was supposed to) and on into the spring. That upped the toll by at least 3mil men killed without me leaving my trenches.
Figuring maybe it had beaten itself silly against me I attacked in the south, and drove through to Rostov (but still haven't set foot in Crimea and many of my forces are 40% strength. I had to at least get to Rostov.
Not much else to say for all that time. I'm still not sure if I can win this, but I'm more hopeful now.
Anyway, here's the toll to date. I'm going to have a new year's drink. If I can get out of my chair. I can't feel my legs.
