Randomizing reinforcements

The Seven Years’ War was fought across the globe and called by some the first “World War” as virtually every major power participated. In the center of events was Prussia, almost constantly at war and lead by the now legendary Frederick the Great.

Relive the exciting and trying days of Frederick the Great in Horse and Musket: Volume I, the improved and expanded combination of the previous Prussian War Machine and Prussia’s Glory titles. Horse and Musket: Volume I is a reboot of the successful Horse and Musket series, including not only two solid historical titles in one package, but also many new game features, a powerful new editor, and a complete graphics overhaul to an already acclaimed gaming system.

Randomizing reinforcements

Post by Javolenus »

Hi There,

In future versions of H&M, could we have the abililty to randomize when reinforcements arrive? So, for example, instead of entering a single turn number for reinforcements (e.g. 'turn 6'), we could enter a two numbers (e.g. 6, 12) and the engine would select a random number inbetween for reinforcements?

It is good idea ... or do it like in JTCS, where you can set turn, when first could reinforcements arrive and percentage if arrive. So if I set 5 turn and 40% I have 40% chance that reinforcements will arrive on 5 or later turn
Excuse my English ... I hope is better then Your Czech ... 8-)

Hi Matto! And thanks for reply. Your English is fine and my Czech consists of one word: 'pivo'!

That's a good idea to have percentage for reinforcement arrival - I would definitely favour that. Hope this feature can be included.

The percent chance to arrive the reinforcement is more likely to done in oposite to two numbers in the  gap. It is greate proposition, but will more usefull for scenario making for PBEM :) and the hipotetical one.
How about my English?
