Pools (ground unit squads&equipent)

Post by cverbrug »

I am playing as japanese and i wonder what the "build rate" means in the equipment pools listing (i suppose this is per month but am not sure?).
Is this a rate per month?

There is also a column next to it which says 'produced this month". Is there a reason why this is lower then the build rate. E.g. if there is a build rate of 120, should we then recieve 120 of such items per month?

A second questions, are their ways to increase this build rate?

Kind regards,
Christophe

Hi my fellow Belgian,

Japanese equipment and squads have no fixed construction rate, but are "built" thanks to armament and vehicle points.  Those points are produced by armament and vehicle industries.

You may increase the number of industries producing armament or vehicle, by expanding them (costs a lot of supply points).  Just make sure you have enough heavy industries to make all your factories active...

Quite the surprise, I thought I was the only Belgian here and now there's 2 others in the same thread.

Lionel is right, but as I understand it, it's not the whole story. Some devices do in fact have a maximum production, those with a build rate can not go over that number, these are devices with technical or other constraints. Most common devices however can be built without limit, apart from the need for manpower/armament/vehicles.

Build this month will be lower than build rate simply because it resets at the beginning of the month, so near the end of the month the numbers will be close, but they will of course be lower most of the time.

Well, here's another suprise,

there are at least two other Belgian WITP fanatics (which i am playing a multiplayer game with right now).

*David The Great
and
*Moss Orleni

So that makes at least five Belgians already ;-)

Doesn't really count, but I'm of Belgian descent (granted, the family came to the US 125 years ago). That makes five true Belgians and one in spirit.

We'll allow a fan-club. It seems I'm not too good at paying attention, that's a lot of Belgians that slipped under my radar. I knew about Nemo, but that's only because he posted it in my AAR.
