The whole natural world seems unduly complicated. Take Avogadro's Number, for eg. Why couldn't it just be "2" or something easy to remember?

Alright, Cap'n: you asked for it...

Q: How many moles are in a guacamole?

A: Avacado's number. [8|]

Had to wiki Avogadro's number to find out what it was. I could almost feel important information oozing out of my brain to fit that in. Now I think I'm dumber after 'learning' something new.

If the information you lost was your wife or GF's birthday or <crosses self> anniversary....then you are a dead man walking.

No, Global Warming causes freezing Winters now. Haven't you heard?

This can be distinguished from Global Cooling which causes freezing Summers and warmer Winters.

I think you have to be some kind of scientist to understand.

Either way the insulated Quonset huts still have a market.

*********Officer's Retreat, Cochin, India, July 5, 1942**********

<Two officers sit at an elegant table playing gin and sampling a fine port>

Lt Gen. Herring, CO, Aus 6th Div.: Say...Arthur, what do you estimate your strength is?

Gen Allen, CO, Aus 7th Div.: <lays down a card> Oh...not sure, really. I estimate I could bench press perhaps 120.

Lt Gen. Herring, CO, Aus 6th Div.: Bench press?...Oh, no, I meant DIVISIONAL strength.

Gen Allen, CO, Aus 7th Div.: Ah, sorry...160 perhaps 170?

Lt Gen. Herring, CO, Aus 6th Div.: Good Lord! That's worse than the 6th. We are at 255.

Gen Allen, CO, Aus 7th Div.: Hmmmp. I don't recall the losses in North Africa being that great.

Lt Gen. Herring, CO, Aus 6th Div.: Probably malaria. Trying to get a digger to take his atabrine is like herding first year lambs for castration.

Gen Allen, CO, Aus 7th Div.: Well, at least we have plenty of lorries. More port, Edmund?

I am invoking Law # 576 of the World's Worst AAR and requesting a 3rd opinion. Are Aussies really that pompous? [:D]

I'm really quite surprised nobody has said, "Hey, wait, Montgomery wasn't in command yet in North Africa In July of '42 so how could he make the Australian Generals pompous because he wasn't even around them yet so I think you guys are making all this crap up.""

I am invoking rarely used rule #577 of the World's Worst AAR and asking for an actual in-game update with maps. Sorry to get all rule-y on y'all, but you deserve it after bringing up Montgomery.

3= Last Laid

Was caught in a snow stom in the high desert...so yes it snows there rarely. Hung my poncho from a cactus to make a shelter, and watched a beautiful site. Thought i saw Morrison at one point.

One of the serious problems in planning the fight against American doctrine.... is that the Americans do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligation to follow their doctrine

"last laid"...good one [:)]

Recon shows 4000 jap troops at Nadi. I don't believe it but will order a recon with 150 mm shells tomorrow.

"(seaplanes evacuating troops from Nadi)"

Hm except for if the fighter sweeps made your pilots decide they all got a bad engine, you should have some
patrol/transport plane A2A kills on your list? I assume you got CAP over Nadi?

Needs LRCAP, not CAP, over Nadi to intercept LYB seaplane evacuation.

You sure? I have not recent experience on transport plane ops but I think I remember
some A2A kills from a paradrop mission in an early AE version from CAP.
Aint that basically the same?

If we're invoking the spirit of Monty can I point out that that map was FAR too wide... Everyone knows a good narrow thrust is all you need. I think we need a MUCH narrower but longer map.

P.s. Monty was a Freudian analyst's dream. All that repressed sexuality.
