alternative graphics

Hi all,

actually I am looking for alternative screen graphics for the Japanese. Had them before but some got lost over the years during fresh installation. Most is still available from Spooky´s site, but a few are not anymore (IJN loading screen & IJN ship selection menu screen).

Maybe there is even more available out here.





(these two originals bother me most)

What I have done is search for some really nice historical pictures and then save them in the 800 or 1024 resolution for your screen. I don't think I have any stock loading graphics or backgrounds anymore. I really prefer actual war footage of graphics vs. the paintings or computer generated stuff... the 1 thing that i don't like is the bmp file format - it's 100x larger compared to jpg file size.

I have also played some movies on my computer just so I could do a screen capture of a specific scene of fighting ships or dogfighting aircraft or bombers, etc...
