IJN free upgrades?

IJN free upgrades?

So, I want to be able to upgrade all my IJN squadrons to N1K. I went into editor, made it carrier capable and it appeared on upgrade list. My question is how to play PBEM with these modification?Do I need to send some files to my opponent, or is it enough that I changed on my side?

Yes. You'll have to start from the beginning, obviously.

Pretty sure you both need to be playing the exact same set of files ... so you need to send them to him and start a new game.  This is a change that I play with as well, and then the house rule that they cannot actually be used from a CV other than for transport.
