I Everyone

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Post by jphamel »

I Would just like to say I to all the nice people in this great forum!

I'm new here!
I'm kind a new to wargaming even though I had Steel Panthers I, at the time I tought it was a stupid game cause I never got very far.

Now, two days ago I downloaded SPWAW, I should say SPWOW! just to try this stupid game again, but HA!HA, now I think am addicted, havent slept since the dowload 2 days ago. ANd I just can't give up, thanks to the tutorials which helped me a lot and the posts on this forum.

Thanks to the designers of this great addictive game!

I think I said enough for now, got to go kick some butt. Well it is more like mine that's being kicked.

Lucky me, the pets I have are 8 tanks!(aquariums) full of fish, my wife works at night. Everything is on my side He!he!

I have a better understanding of those units now, like arty, recon units, smoking, FO, and etc.

I'm getting much better results now. right now I play The Agony of Doom, first time was horrible, this at least it's a draw. And I'm gettin' better everytime.

But there are still so many options I quite don't understand! I'll give it time and practice and read the book.

Eight aquariums!

Post by stevemk1a »

I remember when I had one big salt water aquarium and about four or so fresh water ones ... over the last seven or so years since I got married we (she) have whittled it down to none. I still have fond memories of my enormous 7year-old Tilapia! That fish killed everything you could put in with it: Cichlids, Snakeheads, Piranahs, Oscars, etc... I see them in the frozen foods section of the supermarket today (Tilapia's) and I refuse to buy them out of rememberance. :D
Just my little .02 worth !

I have one thank of african cyclids,

One 5.5 raising danios.
The others tanks to be honest are my wife's.

For PCs, we have 2, one is mine the other my wife, we do not have cableTV, we have cable modem, and we play together on the LAN,
Anyone has a wife that is also addicted like mine!

Well the sad news is she does not like SPWAW, she prefer we play Diable 2 LOD!
