AI stuff

Post by Klydon »

Not sure this is WAD, but here are a couple of screen shots of some bad AI behavior. First shot is 4 of the rail repair units are stacked in close proximity to each other and unguarded. I can see putting them in one spot to help speed along the rail head, but..

Second shot, the Axis are being quite careless with their HQ and airfields.

My game settings are on Axis AI, Soviet human, challenging level, Axis percentage at 110, Soviets at 100. FoW on.

Any questions, please let me know.

It's fairly common for the computer to put these supporting type units close to an enemy fighting unit.

If you have a save with the AI positioning rail repair or airbase and HQs in particularly bad places, trying rerunning the AI from the save. If the bad move repeats consistently, you can send it to 2by3@2by3games.com and tell us what hex the units are being placed in and what kind of unit it is. Using the save Gary can try to improve things. Thanks.
