Turn 15... The end of September.

AGN: An attack by 18th Army on a lvl 4 fort with 3 units in it. They surrendered. Its a rush now to see how much can be taken before mud.

AGC: The northern and southern wings have moved to a regiment defence: 2 up 1 back in reserve. The panzers in the centre are attempting a few more encirclements.

AGS: There are no SU of consequence defending between Kursk and the Black Sea. Just city defenders I will surround and eliminate.

Now for something interesting... The AI decided to surround Kursk with approximately 35 airbases, about 12 HQ units and a few regular troops. XL Panzer corps (2 panzer divisions and a mechanized brigade followed 6th Army toward Sumy. Once the hole was made... I displaced a lot of units. The trip will be in recovering the panzers next turn.

Turn 16

AGN: After removing 2 fortifications on the Finnish boarder, the Finns have moved south into German occupied territory. Things are looking up.

AGC: All 4 panzer corps have been pulled off the front line to refit.

AGS: The Kursk drive into the airfields unhinged the central defence. The AI swung east with Orel as the pivot. Cities continue to be threatened and another air park was visited.

Turn 17

AGN: Russians are beginning to surrender. The Finns are taking blocking positions and 1 panzer corps is refitting.

AGC: Resting. No attacking hardly any movement.

AGS: Mud is upon us... Attempting to make a line of sorts. Two mobile corps are pulled back and refitting. Notice the airfields. So close but to be so far very soon.

Turn 18 and like clock work mud arrives. Reducing the Leningrad defences continues and most of ADG is out of supply. Ought to be fun!

Mud. Still working on Leningrad. I thought I would show a few other details and an over view. The last shot ought to give a sence of the tempo of the '41 campaign.

Turn 20

Mud. Another hex around Leningrad fell. The bulge in the centre of AGC, I am hoping that is where the AI will focus it main thrust. I'll withdraw with the woods and swamps behind my lines.

I was going through the commanders report and some noteworthy names are KIA:

Guderian, von Kleist, von Wild (excellent mech and infantry ratings). So remember guys, make sure the HQ is never left alone. I do tend to forget sometimes.

FM von Bock of AGC has 410 victories and 67 defeats. I think I'll keep him. FM von Leeb of AGN is at 283 victories and 89 defeats. Finally, AGS's FM von Reichenau has 218 victories and 40 defeats.
