Turn 21

Very quiet. Took another hex on the approach to Leningrad. I now have two hex sides on it. All of AGC panzers and refit. Working on others. Finished reviewing leaders. Spent all my AP to update the leadership hierarchy.

Turn 22

Winter is here. Leningrad fell. Aerial refuelling and that’s all.

Turn 23

The Finns finished off Leningrad. All my units are ready. Almost all panzers and refit/resupplied. Straightened my line a little in the south and I am ready to run little a little girly man at the first signs of blizzard.

I believe the best defence in Russia is to not be there. I will give up ground as the pressure mounts. I am not interested in a pissing contest during blizzard turns unless its golden. (hmmmm, bad pun?)

How did you get rid of those forts in front of the Finns?

Turn 24

Last winter turn? Blizzard next? The forces around Leningrad are being refit. The Finns are dashing to the front. The south continues to reposition.

Mynok, I had to attack them with Germans. In this case from the south. Opened a hole and out they came.

Turn 25

Blizzard.

AGN: The Finns are moving as quickly as possible to the front line. German 18th Army is following.

AGC: I moved a handle of units back. I expect a complete massacre this turn.

AGS: The AI has moved a ot of units down here. All allied forces and supporting German units are in full withdrawal.

You may get through the blizzard in decent shape, with all those Soviet divisions destroyed going into it.

Turn 26

AGN: The Finns continue a withdrawal north and an advance east. Hmm, that sounds odd. The Germans continue to pull back avoid combat.

AGC: Several attacks where made up and down the front but most of the defences held. Some minor adjustments where required.

AGS: My allies are in full retreat as the Germans cover them. Will make a stand at the Dnepr me thinks.

My causalities due to combat were negligible last turn however I lost over 100K men to the elements.

Turn 27

AGN: Finns are in place.

AGC: Fiddling with the positions as holes are made.

AGS: The line has been adjusted. Expect contact for the Romanians this turn.

All panzer groups are behind the lines. None have been committed yet.

Finally, I am absorbing the attacks reasonably well. I expect that to change in the next few turns as the weather continues to decimate my forces.
