Greatest Tank Battles; Race for Bastogne

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

Greatest Tank Battles; Race for Bastogne

Post by decaro »

The Military Channel's "Greatest Tank Battles" will show "Race for Bastogne" this Wed at 10 pm on the East Coast.

Aside from equating panzer with panther, the show has done a good job with previous presentations.

Thanks for that. Time to program the DVR.

Funny, that aired here some days ago just at that day when I started my first BFTB game.

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: Joe D.

Aside from equating panzer with panther, the show has done a good job with previous presentations.

I watched all "Greatest Tank Battles" at "Discovery Channel" (I think - I have many of those [:D])... unfortunately I didn't like them much... it is "light" history...

With all the bogus "reality shows" on the History Channel, "light" history is the only history I can get.

I've missed most of the Greatest Tank Battles so far. Hope I can catch a rerun.

I also hope they will put this series out on a DVD set. I bought the season 1 of Dogfights from History Channel and it is one of my favorites. I saw on History Channel's web site they have a combo deal on Battle 360 and Season 2 of Dogfights. I may have to pick that one up too.

Picked-up the full 2 seasons of Dogfights for $19.99 US at FYE a year or so back; the bonus material was practically an ad for the Raptor, whose fate may have been sealed by astronomical cost over-runs.
