Well that's looking good, assuming you've done your recon. [:'(]
11th army is way far north. You need to get the 17th army in there and move those purple guys back south. You are really thin on the ground south of Vinnitsa.
6th arm has nothing in front of them. Push them boys hard and you will definitely threaten pocketing that massive group north of Proskurov. You really need to do that.
Well done with the "Mynok Gambit", reinforced though it was. Nice to have some vindication for the feasibility of this one.

There is a line in front of 6th Army along that river. I took that shot before I remembered to run my end turn recon. I manually control recon. I do a front line, and then a end turn with any left overs.
Not to fear 11th Army will be shifting south as 17th reaches the line in force. Most of 11th is south. 1 Cav Brigade acting as a garrison was sent north. Plus the 2 div you can see there. 1 came from around the pocket and the air landing went straight across the mountains.
Most of 11th Army is along the river and mountains right off screen. Dang morale is low right now so my Romanians don't move far. That will get better.

Okay, turn 6 is complete.
I leaped a bunch of HQ's and air bases forward now that my supply line is really close. But I am also seeing some serious weakness' in his defense. That could change quick, but right now, they are huge.
North Zone 1
This shot is after end turn recon. Notice that the north coast is wide open. Hardly anything there. I did recon on every hex 6 out from my infantry. His main line is along Pskov and that river. He also left the lake hex un-guarded so I slipped a couple div across.

And here can see the next hole in his line. This is after recon 3 hexes behind his line. There is nothing there. I have a Panzer Corp right there and will shoot north if he does not do a major shift. I know most people hate seeing a Panzer Corp from AGC head north, but this is too tempting.

And another huge hole. Almost the entire area around Gomel is empty. He has strong stacks along the Dnepr near Smolensk, but hardly anything here. If only it was not the swamps.

Here we have stage 2 of my pocket. He moved a lot back, but I still managed to bag a bunch. Pretty much the same here. He is using a strictly linear defense wit hardly any back up to slow me down if I get thru his lines. And I will get thru his lines. I see a lot of people making this mistake. You have to to place some units 2 hexes behind your line to force the German player to use precious movement going thru the ZOC.
And for Mynok, 17th Army is reaching the front and taking over for 11th. LOL

Turn 7
Huge update. We have holes blown all up and down the line. Can he close them all in time? That is the question. Either way, he will have to think his line or risk encirclement.
First we have an error on his part. Seriously thinking of offering to pull it back. He did not guard the Finnish border good enough and I am over the border above Leningrad. Wonder what I will find on the other side of the lake?

Here we have the lovely hole blasted in his southern defense line. I got me 4 Div trapped, will he cut and run or risk it all?

Here we have the lovely hole blasted above Vitesbk. Not going to make alot of progress here due to my Panzer Corp helping the north. But if he pulls back big time, I will shift them over this way.

Here we can see the lovely hole blasted across the Dnepr River (hate spelling these Russian names). I could have used that extra Panzer Corp or 2 here. But a nice hole either way.

And here is the dreaded swamp. Hardly anything in it to slow me down. It even looks bleak towards Gomel. I don't get it, I would be like a bad case of fleas in that swamp.

That's not an error, 2ndACR. I take it you haven't seen the Russian side? Defending that border is a waste of time and resources. You would need many divisions to guard it. Forces that you do need elsewhere, especially to stop the Germans [8D]
The Finns are harmless and irrelevant as long as the Germans don't capture Leningrad. On my game I really didn't pay attention to the Finns. I simply withdrew, pushed by them. You have a bigger fish to fry in the south [8D]

Here we can see the next really nice pocket I got and also the huge hole I made in his lines. He may get a couple units out, but not many. Too many ZOC.

here you can see the bottom side of the hole with my armor starting to make the south ward turn. He either cuts and runs or I am going to pocket a large number of them.

And here we have forced him to pull his entire line back. Looks like he will not make much of a fight for Odessa. Good, that will free up more units for the advance.

And finally, for anyone who does not know or never tried. A shot of my rail repairs. I place Army level HQ's at intersections to help spread out the repair crews. These 2 Army HQ's were placed 2 turns ago. Already you can see the north and south repair crews going out. I find this works really well.

He's gonna resupply that northern pocket in the south. If he whacks the Huns and the Slovaks, He may get most of his armor out.

I would have built some forts like the AI does. If that long front is undefended, well I will have Finns during the winter. I can live with that. Plus if he has not garrisoned those port hexes over there, well then the Finns are not harmless. May not be able to attack, but they can defend.
RE: GC 41 2ndAcr (G) vs Oleg (R) No Oleg please
He might, I had to use too much movement whacking the moles to get where I am. Best I could do with what I had.
