Germans using 'captured' RU rifle squads

I'm not sure this is what is meant, but Rumanian units are showing in the captured equipment database, and in German units.

I seem to recall something about GE using minor ally manpower? or am I just imagining I saw that.

It's a bug of some kind. Maybe a display bug.

the GE units using the rifle squads are showing them as Rumanian squads too.

something happened between ax turn 38 and ax turn 39.

on turn 39 an GE unit received RU infantry squads alongside GE infantry squads.
Or am I misunderstanding, and that's ok.

the problem is that they're showing up as captured units?

attached is turn 39, GE unit at 81, 105 73rd inf div. is the first unit to receive Rumanian replacements
