OOB question

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

OOB question

Post by WaveRuler »

Hey,

I'm new to the forum but had the original game back in the day! I was really impressed with the updated version and am really pleased to find an active forum for the game.

I was wondering whether the OOB included with the game will reflect squadrons disbanding and reforming in different commands. I'll give you an example which I remember asking about years ago:

My Great Uncle flew Lancasters with 195 squadron, which was originally a Typhoon operator. I see 195 are in the game with their Typhoons and as I am a long way (in my present game) from their historical disbandment in February 1944, can I expect to see them re-form into a Lancaster squadron in 1944?

regards,

Mark

There is still a little of that, but I don't think that is the case with No.195. Some squadrons renamed, then a new one was formed in place, 624/462 RAAF being one example.
