Current Human vs Human 41 campaign games

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

I'll post the post blizzard slaughter when it's all over.

I got to the very gates of Moscow but I don't think I did nearly enough damage to him.

Yeah, I think < 3 sov million loses going into blizzard is not good.

Just my opinion

From your low loses and the sov's, my guess is he just slowly retreated in front of your advance?

No I agree. I screwed up the Kiev pocket big time. Had a nice Vyazma pocket right before the mud but too little too late

Yikes with a soviet manpower of 5 million yea i think you might be in for a surprise. Was this in mud? If so that's not so bad i guess. Premud i was <3 million as the soviets but i got back upto 6 million by start of 42 offensives.
With about 4 million deaths of my own. I certainly had too many armys at that point. :) I hardly had any armies with their full compliment of 12 divisions either. It was the best of times (fun) it was the worst of times (stressful). But thank god for mud. :) Then i burned a good amount of troops in the blizzard to kill nazis.

You did well waiting for the isolated units to surrender. I find a need every moment to advance so i attack them as soon as they turn red in order to free up tmy Axis "pocket-surrounding units". Also, it seems that many Axis are not able to take Leningrad in PBEM. I've taken Leningrad and Moscow against the AI before Blizzrd, but agaisnt a human.
