France won't cede provinces

France won't cede provinces

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to the game but am an old hand at the original. Playing as UK, I forced France to surrender but she refuses to cede provinces. Whenever the "select a province" mini-map opens, all provinces are named "selection". Does anyone else have this problem or, even better, a solution?

One can only cede provinces wich are adjacent to owned ones.
