Suggestions? Will those 1-hex caps do, if I wanna get most out from the pocket?

And on part 1, in the picture, will the swamp slow down the retreating enough, to forgive the lack of troops in the area?

Also, how do I preform all out-interdiction from II fliegercorps? Shouldn´t that hamper their retreat?

You should be ok from what I see of that pocket, but it would be better if your screen shot shows who has control of what. Extra wide lanes of advancement pretty much doom the Russians early in 1941.

Those Russians won't be moving super far because of the supply and moral issues. Your air force will likely be tired after blowing up all the Russian aircraft and flying ground support (if you had it on; I typically don't use it except perhaps for the attack on Brest-Lvosk).

To be honest imo, you should at the very least attack and kill the static forts. They will surrender no matter what. Also, while I like to attack the western edge of the pocket to get those Soviets out of their fortifications, I can understand why some won't. (They usually rout back a bit, but are still encircled for the most part). You can also look to move some of your infantry in through the gaps to tie up the Soviets inside the pocket. This way you have less moving and more attacking on the next turn to mop up. I would also look to project as much infantry as far east as I could.

oh yeah, the zones. well, they had a pretty good coverage. at the start of turn 4, russian casualties exceeded 340,000 premanent loss. 2nd and 3rd pz gruppes were also deployed near vitbesk and gomel, and dneper bridgehead established.9th, 4th and 2nd army is deploying also in a good order.

so I issue airforce orders from the doctrine screen?

As said, best to hit "e" before doing the screenshot - that way it is easiest to tell width of the encirlement, etc.
