Here is my sub blockade around Japan. It looks pretty pathetic now. But as I continue to get subs it will tighten and tighten until it constricts the life out of Japan.

We had a five day delay due to technical issues but we are back with it. Not much at all to report this turn. It was one of those slow turns. The combat report took less than four minutes. Another one of my fleet subs hit a mine [:@] I think that makes five now. All of them are moderately damaged but will make it. It just takes them out of combat for several weeks.
I have all the subs that start on the west coast at PH now and with 1 more day they all will be repaired and I will move them to Midway where they will top off their fuel tanks and then move to the Home Islands.
The S Class subs will not be able to patrol for long but their torpedoes will at least go off if they hit anything. I am moving supply and fuel to Midway and I am going to move more engineers to it when I have one available. My idea is to build it up as a fuel and torpedo depot for my subs and also maintenance repairs for subs that have less than 10 system damage.

Elsewhere the war continues on like normal. DP has resumed bombarding Hong Kong with about 400 guns and mortars. His first two attacks resulted in about 1,000 men lost. I guess he figures he will wait it out a bit longer before trying again.
In the PI my limited recon reports 10 enemy units have made it to Clark Field but so far no activity. The whole PI is vulnerable since it has few forts and limited supply.
I feel much much better about Malaya. Units are making progress to Singapore which gets stronger by the day and my supply is at 65,500. I have another convoy 1 day from being on map and then it is going to sail to Singapore and attempt to unload a British brigade and about 15,000 supply. I have 70% of the '3' fort complete.
Best of all DP only has limited forces marching down the peninsula.
He has two options. He can march down the peninsula which is going to take forever and tire out his units. Or he can attempt to land further down the peninsula. I have about 175 planes at Singapore with 125 AV support and more arriving. Once I have the AV support I can get my planes repaired and armed and keep them escorted by about 40 Buffalo's. I am not expecting miracles but if he tries to land closer to the city I can make life difficult for him. I can maybe nail a few transports. If they are loaded with troops, all the better.
If DP tries to bomb Singapore itself. Well...I hope he tries :) I have dozens and dozens of 3" AA guns waiting for him and they are extremely well supplied. I can damage and knock down a lot of bombers.

I moved the entire AVG to Rangoon. This is going to give DP a nasty surprise. However, on the second hand this may of been a bad idea on my part since I only have 16 AV support their. [:o]
I probably should have planned that out a little better. After a few days the entire AVG is going to be grounded due to maintenance and damage. I have the AVG base force and RAF base force marching to Rangoon to help out but it will be a week or more before they arrive.

This was an incredibly violent turn. First off my subs made a few successful attacks and sank our third ship of the war. The 5,000 ton freighter Hamburg Maru.
I made several other attacks and they all failed. Three of my subs were depth charged severely and damaged to varying degrees. One is going to be diverted to Manila and two others to PH. I am very quickly running out of subs to conduct the war with [:(]
One is damaged to about 70 flotation damage so I am hoping it can actually make it back to port.
I made several sub attacks around Wake but non were successful. I am going to keep these subs here so that I can hopefully hit a major warship.

DP made another deliberate attack against HK and I had more casualties than he did. The forts were also reduced down to one. HK is not going to hold on much longer and I will be surprised if it makes it to Christmas.

In the PI DP made a full on attack against Clark Field. I had a massive amount of units here including heavy artillery. In the biggest one day battle so far of the Pacific Theater there were about 6,000 casualties with DP taking the majority. I have rarely seen this level of casualties in the game. The most important thing though is that DP reduced the forts down to zero. I also used a lot of supplies in defending off the attack. I am glad to have inflicted that many casualties but it is not going to happen again. DP is probably going to consolidate strength here and then bombard for a while before trying another attack.

My big victory of the day was over Rangoon. I had moved the entire AVG to the city and DP obliged and attacked with Zeros and Sallies. The AVG had a field day and shot down 19 Zeros and 23 Sallies.
I lost 12 P-40s. Most of the AVG is now down for maintenance and damage. I am going to put them on stand down for a few turns. I expect some fighter sweeps and I am not going to give DP anything easy. I have the AVG base force and a RAF base force marching to Rangoon to help out with keeping the AVG flying but it will be some time before they are there.
I will take 4:1 air kills this early in the war :)

Wake Island and Naharu Island both fell today after landings and shock attacks.
