It could happen if you started the game prior Jim added 42a Guards Tanks Corps OB and if you trying to form it in Spring - early Summer 1942. In this case there is no corresponding Guards Tank OB exists and you fail to form it from Guards Brigades. But you still may "succeed" forming regular Tank Corps, if regular Tank Brigade is on the top of selection.

IOW, it should be fixed with new wrob.dat.

o Renamed OB 402 to 42b Guards Tank Corps and added OB 404 42a Guards Tank Corps to correspond with OB 79 42a Tank Corps. This will allow the formation of Guards Tank Corps in April 1942 (previously only non-Guards Tank Corps could be formed prior to July 1942.
