Nr. of kills prior to winter?

Playing my first GC /axis) and I am approaching mud season. What would you experienced players say a decent number of kills/captured/destroyed men, guns and afv should be prior to winter in order to stand a chance later in the game?

Well, against the AI, to survive the winter in decent shape, level 4 forts and 5 million Russians.

Less than that and it will be a shock for you. Welcome to the Germans.

Seriously? 5 m Russians killed/captured before winter sets in? I guess I need to go out and buy some warm clothes...

The blizzard is a shock for German players. You will see your proud 12CV infantry div plummet to 2CV after the 3rd turn. While that Russian you been kicking all over the map goes from 2CV up to 6CV.

The AI will hit you all along your line every blizzard turn, and most humans will too. The more you kill, the less come after you in winter.

You have been warned. LOL
