Interdiction efficency?

Post by rolypoly »

How effective interdiction is in the game? Im trying to find a decent balance between combat support & interdiction. If I manage to encircle the enemy, should I emphasize on the ground support, so that enemy will not succeed breaking through my units, or should I go for interdiction instead so that the enemy´s movement will be crippeled around the pocket.

Ground support results I can clearly see, but I haven´t really noticed anything significant to happen when going for interdiction.

You haven't tried playing as the Soviets? The effects of German interdiction are quite noticeable then.

Interdiction occurs when the other side's units are moving; that's why you don't notice anything.

I know.

Is there a combat report or some sort from these interdiction missions?

You can lose 100's of men from interdiction.  And interrupt the movement as well (not reaching the destination).
More interdiction is done when you have good recon.
