Ok it has happened now twice to me to call an audible, what do you do to do so at that point.

In keyboard mode, pressing the 3 key before the snap will start the audible process.

You then have to select one of the audible plays in the pop-up window.  Press key 1, 2, 3, or 4 to select.

I have not actually looked at the game in a few months, but I put in four generic plays in the my gameplans for audibles.

It goes something like Run Inside, Run Outside, Pass Short, and Pass Deep.

As I recall, I did this partly because I had problems when I hit the audible key when there were no audibles in the game-plan.  This may have been fixed since my testing of audibles, but my playbooks have audibles assigned, so I have not tested it lately.

Note, if you hit the key for audibles, and they are set up in a formation and personnel group that differs from the original play, it can look a mess and force a delay of game.

On a side note, I had asked that audibles be linked to each formation rather than game-plan. That would have made setting them up more difficult, but it would have made the audibles much more realistic. As it is now, if there is a formation with players on the right, and the audible has them on the left, the players run all over and can get stuck in the line.

This is one area I talked to David about improving for 3.0, but I do not know if he considered it a priority.

Audibles do give Maximum Football coaches another reason to play live.
