Disapearing Bombers ?

Post by tmoj2000 »

This is an MP game (TMOJ2000 vs BARATT)

I was about to place my B26 strike when my hand slippled and the mouse went to hell .... But apparently the strike was place somewhere, except I cant find it anywhere on the map.... and I cant cancel it therefore.... Perhaps I am not seeing something, but is there a way to find where it is ?

Thanks

You should see an attack icon over the tile you targetted?

It is possible that it never plotted. Is the bonus button grayed out? Can you try to cancel it?

well the button says "impact -1"

I cant cancel it since to cancel you need to find the icon on the map (which I cant do) and click on it

btw.....I think that when clicking on the button for arty or air strikes you should be directed to the icon on the map, instead of having to look for it yourself....you should also be able to cancel directly from the button instead of having to find the icon on the map......

Tomar,

Once you clock on the are strike, you need to click on the map where you want the strike to happen. Otherwise no strike.

Scott the puzzle is that the bonus button shows -1 impact which means he did plot it, but he can't see the icon. I suspect that it is plotted out of bounds and that is why he can't see the icon.

It shouldn't be possible to place out of bounds. If you find it was let us know and we'll see if we can track it down.

I also lost my bomber icon playing the Blitzkrieg France "to the sea" scenario. Placed the stike on the second town on the right (over the bridge)...but could not locate the icon.

Strike went off as scheduled but never did find the icon over the town. First and only time this has happened over many games played.

OK - "mystery" solved

It is a bug guys

I went on with the game and the bombers bombed... They bombed wayyy out of bound, outside the playable area, the edge of the world

Again I would suggest the option to cancel bombing missions by pressing the bombing button without having to look for the icon on the map

Thanks

If you have any idea how you actually did this let us know. If you can repeat it even better.
