Just look at my AAR, and that will show you what the Russian will face. It does not pay to be too strong as the Russian.

Currently I am digging and he starts attacking. In the northern half. Front is static 1 hex before Velikie Luki and 2 hexes from Smolensk. Will post map again, if interesting things are happening...

Marshall M. and me agreed to restart with the new patch. So this is the end of this AAR. I think it is fair to assume that my opponent would have won this game.
