A bit of levity

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

I think we need to face the fact that some things just don't mix well. [:D]

That is an idea!Whe should make a graphic mod where the counter are anime character (Japaneses made a lot of anime tanks design for WWII shouldn't be too hard) and of course the fearsome northern army of "Lapinie" with bunnies. (Lapin mean rabbit in French so this a word play with Laponie (in Finland) and Lapinie (country of rabbit)).

Best regards

Had to bring this back up. As I was doing my PBEM turn last night (and grinding my teeth at my own ineptitude), my girlfriend put this quesiton to me: "You have played the Envelope Game for a long time and you haven't won yet - don't you think it is time to find something easier?"

At this point, tic tack toe is too hard [:)]

You'd be winning if you weren't having all that trouble with the bathtubs.

She knew already, I was doomed from the start. She just couldn't figure out why I kept taking books from my shelf about some invasion of the USSR and then playing the Envelope Game.

These things happen. It was 5000 model soldiers that gave me away.

Wife got a bit upset a few weeks ago and complained 'you've been playing on that wretched machine for 6 hours now'.

I knew 'is that all?' was not going to be the right answer and managed to bite back that answer.

Unfortunately, 'no I haven't. It's only been 5 hours and 40 minutes' wasn't much better apparently

LOL. I have the same scenario my end.....daily [;)]

Whoever mentioned DNO got me all misty eyed[:)]
But now that gaming only takes up a desk [and most evenings obviously] life is calmer. Ever seen eyes glaze over if you try to actually explain the diffficulty and complexity of your 'game'? [:D]
Plan? What plan? Attack!!
