Two strange new things with patch 3

Just played the first turn in the GC 41-45 scenario against Russian AI and had a couple of things happening that I have never seen before:

1. During the AI turn Russians launching airfield attacks, only ever 2 or 3 planes and causing no casualties to me. Two attacks though were against Finnish airbases, obviously whilst the Finns are still not activated.

2. The AI launching ground attacks, both deliberate and hasty, but no units or strengths showing up in the combat results screen. Relatively few casualties but a total of 12 attacks. The Commanders Report when it came round to my turn listed the attacks but also showed no strength for the attacker!

Should these be happening? Also and no problem with this considerably more German interdiction attacks during the AI turn, is this a new fix?
