Transfering Serial #

Not sure if this belongs here or who to contact...

I bought a 2nd copy of WitE for the guy who owns the business I work at, at his request, using his credit card info, with his name on the physical copy. Problem is, I now have 2 copies of the game listed under my account and he can't get member patches for it(I don't really want to give him my login info). Is there a way to transfer it to the account I created for him?
