Game stops working with patches 3 and 4 ?

I installed beta 1.03, started up a new human vs human pbem match; did air recon and air base attacks with the axis. With my first attempt at a ground attack, the game stops working. Same thing with patch 4. Anyone else seeing this ? I'm running a new Windows 7 machine with a Core7 processor and 12 gigs of RAM. Never had a problem with WiTe until now.

Yes I just started my first pbem game and the program has stopped working three times during turn 1. Once it was trying sea movement and the other two times ground attacks. This is with 1.03 beta 4.

I found it took way longer than usual for the air war to start.... and when it did (almost thought game had stalled) there were a lot more aircraft in the skies

What does it mean "stops working"? It is freezing, crashes, etc..?

It freezes and the choices are Close Program or check online for a solution.

It sounds as a crash.

If it is repeating, please send/attach save file with exact steps to reproduce it.

To reproduce my exact steps before the crash:

select the 254th Inf div at X45, Y49 and move it to X49 Y47

deselect the 126th and 30 divs already in the hex and hasty attack the fort unit at X49 Y 46 with the 254th only. You should get a program has stopped working message

I get the same result with a prepared assault by the 254th btw

All of your game options set to 0. Don't know how it is possible to set, but the fact is that this is abnormal and causing division by zero crashes.

I suggest you to restart and check if all options are set correctly.

wow ! I hadn't noticed the 0's, i think my mind automatically assumed this was normal ! I'll contact my opponent and ask him to regenerate a new Soviet starter turn ... thanks Pavel ! Fantastic support
