How do I start a computer vs computer game?

I want to do a Barbarossa scenario using the computer vs computer mode (AI vs AI), but I don't see/understand what I need to do to actually start the game.

Press end turn after loading the scenario.

Here was my thought process (such that it was!):

Once the game was set up and ready to be run on a computer vs computer basis, I thought pressing "End Turn" (F12) would end the German turn and the Russians would get the first actual turn. Obviously, that's not the way it worked historically.

Well, that's what I get for over-thinking and not simply pressing "End Turn"!
