Turkey Hunt Redux (M4 Jess vs. Vahauser)

We decided to reset and try again. Jess is deploying now with the same initial conditions as the previous game.

I just completed the German Turn 1.

The map is fairly open with plenty of roads and hills broken by lines of trees. There aren't many wooded areas. The center VHs are 30 per turn and the rear VHs are 225 at the end of play.

Given the roads and open ground I was able to claim all the center VHs this turn. But I'm willing to bet that Jess will respond with fury.

I took all VH and sent a lone M8 AC on a suicide run right down the center and low and behold:eek: Must be a whole Panzer Kompanie sitting behind a hill right behind his smoke, Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my:eek:
some 105s woke um up:mad: but now I fear I awoke a sleeping dragon:(

Wow! It's only turn 2 and already the fighting is getting fast and furious. After some very tough fighting I managed to take back the center VHs. But I can I hold them?

The whole center of the map seems to be turning into one big smoke cloud.

I'm not sure of everything I killed, but I think I got a handful of M-18s, some M-8 Scotts, 6-10 M-8 scout cars, a few mortar jeeps, a couple recon patrols, and a couple M4 flame tanks. I also managed to eliminate most of the crews of the destroyed vehicles (I think). In all, I'm guessing I took out about 20-25 units. The problem is that most of these units were recon/light troops. I have no idea what will happen when Jess retaliates with his main battle troops...

I give up! the C&C thing is new to me and I just cant get my units to work for me...I challange you to a small C&C battle..or a large one with C&C off..your call:D
