FBD Units

Post by Mudmag99 »

Hi all,
What determines the cost for repairing rails? It seems the northern tracks use 1 movement point, while the rest use 3, even though the terrain is the same!

Everything costs 3, except in some places in the north (baltic rail lines)which cost 1.

However I also think theres a max you can repair on one line per turn , I believe 5.

you will notice the baltic rail zone marked on the map near Riga

Conversion costs are less because the rails are more similiar to German rail

Outside the baltic rail zone the rail repair cost are higher

Ok one thing I dont understand is this.

I can understand that the germans have to repair everything they take over because the soviet tracks are wider.

But once they take over a territory and repair it, then lose that territory, do they have to repair it again (if the soviets did NOT repair) and if so why?

Hello, I checked my Russian FBD units. They are all on automatic busilly reparing rail as I try to advance but none of them are repairing rail where I want them to and their mobility is zero as they are busy repairing on automatic.
Anything I can do as a Russian player.
