BFTB + Fraps?

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

BFTB + Fraps?

How do you use FRAPS to record BFTB? I know Panther Games has video footage of their game in action, so I know it's possible. But how?

We used a program called Camtasia. It's OK, just. I cursed and complained the whole way through the tutorial movies because of its many issues. However, it's relatively cheap compared with a similar program from Adobe.

If you have fraps running (will be in the system tray), you should be able to hit F9 to start/stop recording. You can right-click the icon in the system tray and open up a settings dialog to change things about recording such as target FPS, key(s) used to start/stop recording, and whether to include audio. I will try it when I get home tonight and see if there are any issues recording with fraps. The files are huge, so you will want something like avidemux to encode it in something else to make the final video much smaller.

I wasn't asking how to use FRAPS, I was asking how to use FRAPS with BFTB/HTTR etc. FRAPS doesn't detect it as a capture source.

Dave if you want me to do the leg work I can talk to the FRAPS people and see what it would take for FRAPS to support the program. Probably wouldn't be too hard.

It looks like Fraps recognizes it since profiling with Dependency Walker shows the fraps32.dll attaching to the process.

Huh? Dependency walker?

If I launch BFTB or any other AA game the overlay doesn't appear and you can't capture.

I know, you have said that more than once. You also said it doesn't recognize it, but it does otherwise it wouldn't attach to the process. There is something else going wrong with the interaction between Fraps and BFTB.
