Transport aircraft in Road to Lenningrad?

I'm playing the Road to Lenningrad against the AI and don't seem to have any transport aircraft to drop any type of supplies. I tried at the end of the turn and none were avaialble. Just to be sure I also tried at the beginning of a turn and still none available. What causes that? I checked and some of my air bases do have transport aircraft. What should I be checking to make them available?

set them to day missions on the aircrafts detail window or commanders report

I have 1st LW Air base with 14 transport planes 3 hexes from a Panzer group, set to Night Missions - NO and still I get the message No transports available. I attached a picture of the air base info. Let me know what else I should check.

You have 14 ready planes in your KGR zbV 106 air section. The maximum in that unit is 40. Can you check you AirDoctrine to see the % required to fly?. By default is 50%, so you will need 20. You should lower the % if you want to use that particular unit. If you want to fly also the KGrzbV 9 you should lower the % to 20%

50% means you need 50% of TOE to be in ready condition in order to launch a mission. Since TOE is 40, you need 20. If you set to 10%, you could fly even if you only have 4 planes ready.
