Rail Repair - NKPS Units

Hello Everyone,

I am coming to grips with rail repair as I have not used my railway brigades properly to date (I must better start now).
It is March 1942 and I have look at all my units and while I have 5 railway brigades I have no NKPS units. I understand they cannot be created and appear as reinfocements.
Does anyone know when they arrive?
I desperately need them.

Check re-enforcements, but I think it is late 42 for the first one.

I suggest you to start manually forming up at least 1 RR support unit per army.  Since your armies are spread our accross the front, automated repair is good enough.  When you start going deep into Axis territory, that's when you need NKPS.

Very good but I do not know how to do this. How can I manually create a RR support unit in an army HQ? I desperately need to do this.

You use AP points. The manual should give you a detailed method of accomplishing this task.

Click on the army to open the army detail window

lock the hq...to prevent construction engineer auto transfer

click on assign/form

click on RR brigade

one will be created
