How to create Duchy of Warsaw?

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

How to create Duchy of Warsaw?

Post by Cyrano dX »

The manual states that in order to create the Duchy of Warsaw the following provinces need to become your protectorates : Warsaw, Posen, Petrokov, Plotsk and Masovia.

Playing as France 1805 do I need to declare Total War on Prussia in order to capture all these provinces (then turn them into my protectorates, will that even be an option?) or is there another way.
Also I've created the Confederation of the Rhine and don't seem to be getting any Regional Bonus Units from them (I'm well below my Mob limit). Am I missing something ?

Thanks

A lot of those regional bonus units don't work.  I think the only one is the Kingdom of Naples.  Hopefully this will be addressed in the patch.

France in "Quest for Glory"
Prussia in "Invitational"

I have also come across issues with Regional Bonus Units.

The resolution can be found in this thread:
How to fix missing regional bonus units

You will also need to lookup this thread, for a procedure on how to remove a province from a minor:
