Who owns these mines, Allies or IJN?

I have a feeling they are Allied and if they are I would be a bit miffed about my last BB mission where I lost a CA to them and had a few DD's catch a few as well.

This was at Cairns, which now belongs to my IJn opponent (although not for long):D
I shall make it a felony to drink small beer.

Its Japanese, anything that says type usually is. If it Mk ? (arabic numeral) its usually USN, if its MK ? (roman numeral) its usually Royal (or commenwealth) Navy.

;) Sounds like your opponent brought along some of his mine layers when he took Cairns. Sneaky fellow. ;)
