Assigning HQs

Post by Wikingus »

How do you know which HQ to assign to which units? For example, I assume that if I move some Aussie units from Australia to Port Moresby, I have to change their HQ. To what? The units already in Papua New Guinea have different HQs. How do I know which one to choose?

Same goes for any other unit transfers. What's the best way to go about it? I'm playing a GC for the first time and I'm kind of lost with this aspect of the game...

I usually change them to SWPac. In fact, SWPac and Pacific Fleet (I think) are the only HQ's I use. I'm probably missing some bonus somewhere but it is pretty expensive to keep changing divisions back and forth.

Better to assign them to a corps HQ. UI use Aus I corps.
